How God Turned My Life Upside Down and Led Me Into Ministry

Jul 04, 2024

Wondering how the "Prayer For Healing" ministry got started? It took an incredible journey and some mighty acts of God to get me to this point. Spoiler alert: it wasn't a path I chose for myself. In fact, I resisted it with everything I had.

I was once completely against Christianity. I explored Buddhism, meditation, and other forms of spirituality before I found Christ. Despite all my searching, I never found the deep, fulfilling relationship with God that I have today. My life took a dramatic turn in March 2023, when I completely devoted my life to Jesus Christ and he healed me.

After my healing, I was filled with such joy that I wanted to share the gospel with everyone. It was an overwhelming, life-changing experience, where I felt the Holy Ghost rush into my lungs like a mighty wind. But here's the catch—God healed me 99.9% of the way, leaving a small thorn in my flesh to keep me grounded and on His path!

If it had been up to me, I would've gone back to my old life as a marketing consultant, focusing on worldly success. But God had other plans. Like Moses at the burning bush, I initially resisted my calling. Over the next few months, God patiently worked on me, teaching me about deliverance and guiding me to The 8 States Of Healing.

These steps include:

  1. Faith - Believing wholeheartedly in God's power and Jesus' sacrifice.
  2. Humility - Dying to oneself and picking up the cross.
  3. Repentance - Clearing out spiritual junk to make way for God's presence.
  4. Forgiveness - Both seeking it and offering it to others.
  5. Grace - Becoming spiritually disciplined through scripture, prayer, and community.
  6. Giving - Sharing the gospel and praying for others' healing.
  7. Prayer - Praying with determination and aligning with God's will.
  8. Glorification - Celebrating His works and breaking free from spiritual warfare.

God taught me that these steps are essential for anyone seeking a healing miracle. After learning this process, He directed me to start a podcast and share my testimony. This was a huge challenge for me. I didn't want to put myself out there. But God made it clear: this miracle wasn't just for me to enjoy; it was for me to share.

In February 2024, God told me to go "All-In". I stopped accepting new marketing clients and devoted myself full-time to building this ministry. Despite my marketing and business background, I had no idea how to build a ministry. But God guided me step-by-step, revealing an overarching plan to unify the church and reach the sick and suffering online.

We realized that we needed to use targeted ads to reach those who spend hours online, struggling with anxiety, depression, and pain. Organic content alone wouldn't cut it. By connecting these individuals to online courses and communities, led by local church members, we could guide them to a better way through Jesus.

This is not just about healing the sick—it's about turning them into disciple builders. When someone experiences a healing miracle, they become passionate about God. By plugging them into our communities and turning them into leaders, we create a ripple effect. These new leaders can then support others going through similar struggles, fostering a cycle of healing and discipleship.

The gospel of Jesus Christ spread throughout the world because of the testimonies of a core group of disciple builders. Our goal is to do the same. We want to reach broken people online, guide them to the gospel, plug them into their local church, and empower them as a disciple builder.

This journey has been about breaking down my own will to follow God's plan. That's why I built the Prayer for Healing Ministry. Now, I'm reaching out to church leaders to show them a more effective way to reach their local community using the internet.
